Skype 4 Bugfix
I had an email from a guy called Ivan last night, informing me that Skype 4 has been updated to fix the problematic detection of the correct device driver with the ASUS Xonar D2 sound card (see my original post on the problem). The fix works a charm, but here’s a link to the bug-tracker entry, so you can read up on the issue, if you’re interested.
Upgrade your Skype to version 4.0.0.266 or later, and you should be good to go. Thanks, Ivan
